"Observational comedy at its finest" The Independent

"A thunderingly charismatic comic" The Guardian

Having written and starred in his own sitcom for the BBC (Sunny D) and performed a triumphant run at the Edinburgh Festival, Dane Baptiste is fast becoming regarded as definitely one to watch as his career takes off. After the incredible success of his debut show Citizen Dane (which saw him nominated for Best Newcomer at both the Foster’s Comedy Awards at 2014’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival and again in 2015’s Chortle Awards), he has also completed two sold out runs at The Soho Theatre (with additional dates added due to phenomenal demand), and performed at the Melbourne Comedy Festival.

Dane has also established himself as a TV regular with performances on Sweat the Small Stuff (BBC3), Virtually Famous (E4), Celebrity Squares (ITV1), Seann Walsh’s Late Night Comedy Spectacular (BBC3) & Live at The Comedy Store (Comedy Central), as well achieving total sell out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe 2014 & 2015.

"An enticing prospect, a Canadian who deals in off-kilter thoughts sharpened by the occasional prod at taboo topics." The Independent

Chris Betts hails from Canada and has performed all over the world, quickly gaining a reputation for being one of the smartest and funniest acts on the circuit.  He has received numerous plaudits for his sharp material and relaxed stage presence.  Chris Betts’ mind is a curious place, where the philosophical meets the ridiculous. His material is a perfect balance of incisive social satire and complete silliness.  He has a style that is equal parts confident, thoughtful, ridiculous and mischievous.

"A confident style... a glint of steelier edge." Chortle
