Headliner: ERICH McELROY
Originally from Seattle, Erich McElroy moved to the UK in 2000 and in 2007 collected his British passport. After that he knew he had to start doing stand-up. Erich offers an hilarious and insightful take on the life in the UK through the (somewhat) sober eyes of an American and has delighted audiences up and down the country for many years. While his six full Edinburgh shows have taken a turn for the political (“This is political stand-up at its best." BroadwayBaby) it’s his “modest, slightly bookish, charm and genuine affection for the UK” (Chortle) that makes him stand out.
Erich has appeared on Scotland’s foremost BBC radio topical show “Breaking the News” as well as providing humorous political commentary on places such as the BBC, Sky, Newsnight and on his own podcast American Exchange.
"Sincerity and sharp wit leaving you with a hopeful beam on your face and desperately wanting more" EdFringe Review
